Hi again!! Today I'm doing the laundry & knitting. Downloading podcasts & wishing I had 100 hours a day to listen to them! I also have to go shopping, but I can't leave my mom alone. Tough, huh? Anyway, I fed the sheep, chickens, dogs, & the nephew-in-law's mare, who's a spoiled, gorgeous pinto horse...hehe She always gets in the middle and steals most of the sheep's corn. So, I need to start working on the veggie garden again, now that the heat of summer is mostly over. I'll talk again, I think. I told you to be patient with me... 8-)

On the Roll!!!

Hello, all! This is my first real post!! Let's see how this goes. I have been knitting & crocheting for two years now. I taught myself how to do both, although my mom tried to teach me to crochet when I was a young girl, but I never got it, my stitches were too tight, and I didn't want to make doillies, anyway... So far I have been able to make baby clothes, dishcloths, hats, scarves, mittens, afghans and throws, slippers, and other things. Socks...well, that's another thing. I find myself fearing dpn's. I think I might poke an eye out or something...I'm sure I'll try some day... Well, this is it for now. Let's see how often I can update this. take care 8-)
